About Our Story
Pastor Khyeese Bethea
Meet Pastor Khyeese Bethea, the founder of Khys Corner Ministries, which started as an online ministry in Leavenworth Kansas. She moved to Boonville Mo, in 2018 with her three children. After much consideration. God called her to full ministry where she started with a small community congregation, having services wherever she could. Our current church home is in a hair salon where a very dear friend opened her heart and her space and is ready each week for Sunday service. We have had services in the public park, and sometimes other locations would open their doors, because they saw her dedication to do God's will and to share with others what God has placed on her heart to share. She has two services on Sunday, as the online service is still established with more than 1.2k members. Please feel free to join one of the services. We would love to have you in attendance.
Pastor S. LaShaughn Davis
Meet Pastor Syvette Davis of Leavenworth Kansas. She is the executive Pastor for Khys Corner Ministries. The online ministry was established in 2016 and has since reached an outstanding community count of 1.2k members. This collaboration of these two amazing women of God coming together to create a core mission to embody love and service without assuming the roles of judge or jury and has fostered a community where all are welcome. Together they have reached many milestones in the ministries growth and continue to serve wholeheartedly. Each day at 3:15pm, Pastor S. LaShaughn Davis goes to Facebook to pray for those who have asked for special prayer. She is faithful and does this each day. If you are in need of prayer, leave your request and Pastor S. LaShaughn will pray on your behalf.
The Dynamic Duo
These two women, whom are sisters by blood, have dedicated their lives to serving God and helping anyone who is in need. Together they hold two Sunday services one at 10:30am and one at 2:00 on their zoom platform. They have conducted seven baptisms together. They have held four clothing give-a-ways, and have fed the community several times for free. Even though Pastor Syvette doesn't live close, Pastor Khyeese never conducts a service or event without her. Their love and passion for God takes them to a higher calling and through their obedience, they have made a huge impact and have touched so many lives. The most significant part is that God is not done with them yet, He has only just begun. The best is yet to come.
The GEM who raised these two women of God
Khy's Corner Ministries has a faith that is centered around their love for others because of the love that was poured into them. This is Mother Kaye, an amazing, outstanding, committed, mother who raised these two women to stand strong and to lean on God because they can do all things through Christ who gives them strength. She believed in them and raised them to believe in themselves. It is because these two Pastors know what the true definition of love stands for, this is the real reason why they have touched so many lives. Because they received it from their lovely mother and in turn they extend it to others. What a true blessing it is to be in their presence. To know them is to love them.
Deacon Tony Evans
We value this man right here. Introducing Deacon Tony, the co-founder of both the ministries. He is the man who oversees all our IT issues and makes sure that everything is working correctly before we go live. Deacon actually did all the leg work and logistics to get the ministries going with zoom and Facebook, and so much more. Even though he doesn't live in or near Boonville, He is here with the quickness if Pastor calls and says she needs him, with no complaints from him what so ever. He literally is our left hand man, but more importantly, he is a God Send and we could not do this without him.
